Flextime Tips


It is very common to see flextime arrangements that allow workers to choose when they start and end their day as long as they are on site for a core band of hours or meet minimum daily or weekly requirements.

It is important for you to provide support for those employees by providing support including:

  • How coverage will be maintained

  • How effective channels of communication will be established and maintained

  • How hours are to be tracked

  • How performance will be measured

  • How tasks will be addressed when managers are not present.
